Villa Marittima

Residential

Villa Marittima, designed by Architect Robin Williams, is an acclaimed example of recent minimalist design.

Architect: Robin Williams

Photography: Dean Bradley

Yellow resign walkway through pool into a living dining room with views of the beach.
Polished concrete floor with a tea tree at the end of the corridor.

Simplicity, space, views and an abundance of natural light are the key design elements.

Enclosed by translucent multi-celled polycarbonate walls, with dramatic cantilevers and with an award-winning pool described as “a room filled with water”, the dwelling construction required very close attention to detail and exacting dimensional tolerances.

The dwelling and its immaculate construction has received numerous architectural and design awards, including the Australian Institute of Architects National Award for “Residential – New” and also the National “People’s Choice” award.
